1998 Pontiac Grand Prix WIRING

A mouse chewed through the wires of my car and now I have no stereo, and I can not unroll the automatic windows. A mechanic hardwired my heat to work on a switch. I want to get all the wiring repaired and/or replaced and back to working order, where do I start? Is it possible?
