1998 Pontiac Grand Prix battery light

I just got my car reparied due to the battery light comming on. They replaced the battery and check the alternator belt. They said everything should be fine. But the battery light still is coming on and my lights in my car are dimming and the heat does't blow out that strong.

Tell them to hook it up on a VAT machine and full field it-this will tell who's not doing its job between the alternator and regulator.

Could be a PCM controlled field generation of the alternator-check this too.
