Car will turn over fine drive an average of 50 miles and die no matter the speed spits and sputters a little then goes dead will not crank back up for at least 12 hrs replaced computer fuel injectors pcv egr valve new fuel pump a filter within the last year. What else could it be?

Take a look at your crank position sensor. As this is common with 2.8 and 3.1 engines. And it will not show up as a fault on a diagnostic test. Mmmmm
