Brakes problem
1990 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

After replacing the brake booster, the brake lights will not shut off. If I unhook the brake light switch lever from the pedal pin, I can move it far enough to the rear so that the lights will shut off. In this position, it is about 1/2 inch out of place. Our Chilton's manual implies the switch is adjustable, but gives no info on adjustment. Any info?

I do not see any adjustment on the booster pushrod. My Chilton's manual implies the brakelight switch is adjustable, but gives no more info.
