Issues started after running out of gas. Will be fine for a week then start stalling while driving and/or wont start unless giving it a little gas (70% of the time), also seems to idle like it will stall and sometimes does. Replaced fuel pump and filter and a module (not sure which) and replaced gas tank. Had fuel system cleaned. The Service Engine Light has come on with a P0442 code (EVAP) (small leak detected) but my mechanic can't find a leak. May be fine for a couple days then act up again. Sometime when she stalls while driving I can shift to nutral and restart, other times I have to pull over and crank on it and most times it will start while giiving it a little gas (but may stall out when I let off the gas. Have gone through a starter and alternator during this time. I am going broke with this car. Please help!

Need to find out what is going away for sure, spark or fuel. Have your tech test it to be sure it is keeping fuel pressure. The small evap leak could have been caused when the tank was replaced, doesnt take much of a leak to set a code
