2004 Pontiac Grand Am oil trouble

The car is releasing oil back through the oil check stick hole with pressure on it and when you check the oil with the stick there is none on the stick

If you are blowing oil back through the dipstick your crankcase is pressurized. You need to replace your pcv valve as it 's probably not working or you have a more serious problem with the engine. But a pro should check that out to give you a proper diagnosis. If there is no oil showing on the dipstick then put oil in until it reads full. If you change the pcv valve it should stop unless there is another problem.
