I just want to find out how much a car place should charge me to put in a new water pump! And they said it had a very small leak. How much time do you think I have to wait to replace the water pump. They told me $1000.00 to replace the water pump. I think that is kind of out rageous.

Once it leaks, it will become bigger and bigger leak. Depending on how you drive, you may have days, weeks, sometime months. But it won't cost you $1000. Call around for better price. Also ask if you can bring your own part and just pay them the labor.
