Noises problem
2002 Pontiac Grand Am 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 100k miles

I replaced both wheel bearings no change. Noise starts at about 20 mph. When wheel is turned to right noise gets louder. Right side tie rod is a little loose. Would this cause humming noise though?CV boots are in good condition, so are brakes and rotors, ball joints etc. Can not see tire rubbing anywhere. Could cv shaft still be bad. Thanks

A loose tie rod will cause toe alignment to be off and could cause humming.

Start by replacing tie rod end.

Try this also:

Raise car, put on stands. Grasp tire and push/pull both horizontally and vertically, if any movement then possible wheel bearing, ball joint, tie rod, control arm bushing.

Check CV boots for any signs of leakage or cuts/rips in rubber boot.

Mark the tie rod end so you can get it close to alignment, but you should get the toe checked at an alignment shop.
