2001 Pontiac Grand Am hesitate to start

I have a 2001 pontiac grand am that sometimes will start right up and other times it will take a few tries to get it started. It is a 2.4l with about 78,000 miles on it. I recently had a tune up done to to it, hopefully to fix it and it has not worked. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Have you changed the fuel filter or had the induction cleaned yet, sometimes little things like that are the culprit, if there is no check engine light on it may be as simple as that
