I was driviing down the highway today with the cruise control set on 100 Km/h and the car accelerated right up into the red zone on its own and the brakes wouldn't work enough to get it down. Wow was I scared! Finally got it over to the side of the road and shut it off. What could be the problem! Thanks Kelly So far it's running good without cruise on.

Hi there,

The cruise control actuator is getting a constant power signal, do not use the cruise and have the system inspected by a qualified mechanic. As I feel there is nothing that you can do your self.
