I am driving down the road and hear clicking sometimes like I have turned my turn signal on, but I haven't. The lights don't come on outside the car or on the dash when I hear the noise. Cannot find a pattern as to when the noise occurs, but seems to have something to do with movement of the stearing wheel. Clicks alot when changing lanes alot on the free-way.

I had a problem like this on my 1999 Grand Am. I found a forum where a guy said that 1999 and 2000 Grand Am's had recalls on the Hazard Switch going out do to cold weather, causing it to crack and short out the electrical. I bought the little Hazard switch that goes above the radio right beside the ETS control from GMPartsdirect. Com. Replaced it and the turn signals started working again.
