2000 Pontiac Grand Am repeating tone noise about every coup

My grand daughter just bought a 2000 Pont. Grand am gt recently and now around every couple minutes there is a tone noise (ding ding ding) even when car isn't runing. There are no warning lights coming on and we checked seat belts etc.
If anyone has an idea what is causing this, your help would be greatly appreciated.

Might need to have the BCM (Body Control Module) scanned to see if it is having an issue with something, ie. Thinks the headlights are on, or a door is open or the trunk, something along those lines. Everything in the car works properly?
