My check engine light is on and upon testing indicated a possible issue with the fuel filter, fuel pump or vacuum leak. Weeks later after this issue began the vehicle will sporadically sputter on idle and flood itself and backfire if any gas is given. The issue seems to be related to the mass air in some way, but the issue will occur even if the mass air is unhooked. Would types of issues will cause this to occur?
