Speedometer not working properly. Actual maybe 30 mph and speedometer showing 120 mph.

Need to perform the speedo gauge sweep test using a scan tool. Connect scan tool to DLC and turn ignition on. Select instrument panel cluster (IPC) special functions IPC gauges on scan tool.. Perform speedo gauge sweep. Should make speedo to go from 0 MPH to max speed and then back to 0 MPH smoothly. Let me know how it goes.
