1999 Pontiac Grand Am Can you help?

Well I have a 1999 pontiac grand am and I had just installed a short ram intake. So I took it for a test drive and when I had come back to my garage I started to hear a tapping sound in the engine everytime I accelerated. So I was wondering if you could please help me.

Check the intake gasket for leaks and remove valve cover, inspect cam/valve operation by rotating engine by hand (ratchet and socket on balancer bolt), make sure valves/cams are working properly.

Check for coolant in oil.
