1999 Pontiac Grand Am 6 cyl Automatic

My battery has been running down like the alternator is bad and I've changed the alternator, the battery light still comes on and runs down, but the battery is good also, what else can it be?

Check the drive belt tensioner. If you can grab the belt and pull slack into it, the tensioner needs to be replaced
