Sounds like it was an attempted auto theft vehicle. The built in anti-theft system is shutting down all necessary components (i.E. Fuel pump, ignition system etc.) To prevent vehicle from being "stolen". You will have to contact your local Pontiac dealer to see if they can give you a code for your specific VIN.
