1995 Pontiac Grand Am quad driver module #2

I have a quad 4 in my grand am. It has been running rough. I have a code #28 on my test equipment which is #2 Quad- Driver Module. The book does not specify what this component is. Other mechanics I know have no clue either. Can you help?
