1995 Pontiac Grand Am help iM freezing

Vents only blow cold air when I turn fan on. Also air comes out of all vents no matter what I select.

any help is appreciated.

Start by checking coolant level, if OK, then warm up engine and quickly touch the heater core IN/OUT hoses, they should be both hot. If one is hot and one is warm/cold, then heater core is blocked.

Also check the heater control/divertor valve, the cable may be broke.
