1994 Pontiac Grand Am ENGINE DIES WHEN THROTTLE IS CRACKED

When I open the throttle and hold it open, the engine will immediatly lose power and die. If I open the throttle and let it close again it will sometimes die and sometimes not. It is a single overhead cam (vin 3) and has recently had the head gasket replaced. Thanks.

Cross these two terminals as shown, then turn the key on. Count the flashes, a 22 will flash as 2 flashes then a short pause, then 2 flashes, if more than one code is stored, the pause will be longer. The codes will display three times and end with 12.
