Hello,

I have been trying to come up with every idea I can about my car. The mechanics have done a lot of work to the engine to get it fixed. So far I have had a new fuel filter put in. New coil packs and coil housing as well as a new crank position sensor and new ignition control modul. Granted when this was all done the car had alot more power. The problem is that if the car is sitting at home over night or for an hour or 2 it will start up fine and drive down the rd fine. If I have to make a short trip and it only sits for less than an hour or half hour it won't start back up. It takes up to an hour at times to get it to start up again. What are the possible issues. I have spent nearly 700 dollars already trying to fix the problem and still no luck. Can anybody help with this issue. Thanks.

sincerely,

Eric D. Youdes.
Its a 2.3 liter SOHC engine as well. Quad cam

I would donate but I don't have a credit card nor do I have a checking acount and my funds are running dry due to all the repairs so far.

When it starts after nostart does it lite right offf or do you need to throttle it some? Has fuel pressure been checked and injector leak test done?

I was told there was a rail in the way and that they could not test the fuel pressure. It will not start. I can crank the engine but it won't stay started.
