I am not sure what the signs of a blown head gasket are. My cars running rough like its out of timing, the oil is carmel colored, and its low on water now, and a loss in power in the moter. I dont know where to start?

Sounds like a headgasket problem. Maybe intake gasket leak. The carmel colored oil is not a good sign. It means that coolant is mixing with the oil.

Are you capable of taking on a headgasket job?
