1993 Pontiac Grand Am car problems

Where is the ignition control censor on a 1993 grand am 3.3 engine located willthat cause it to turn over but not start. I checked the fuel, looked at the timing chain it seemed fine used some starting fluid still turned over did not start. Please could you help thanks
