1993 Pontiac Grand Am bleeding the cooling system

to bleed the cooling system where do i have to look to bleed the air out cause there is no where to bleed it by the thermostat, is there somewhere else that i could bleed the air out?

stand in front of the car.
looking at the engine.
there is a pipe that runs above the valve cover that is closest to you
at the end of that pipe on the passenger side is a bleed valve.

it may not look like what you are used to seeing on brakes.
