My car is less than a year old, and recently when I lock my car the alarm will go off for no reason, also my door ajar alarm comes on even when all doors are closed. Are these related? Whats the fix. Took it to a dealer and they found nothing. So now I am forced to leave my car unlocked so the alarm does not go off. Thanks for your help.

I am having this same problem, which just began about three weeks ago. The door ajar warning comes on intermittently when I am driving and the interior lights illuminate after I've turned the car off and locked it. The alarm goes off without reason and I am becoming a nuisance to my neighbors, so if you have any feedback which may help me, please let me know. Thanks!

Follow this info, if the message comes on with all doors closed, that you open and close all doors individually to cycle the latch and switching mechanism. By doing this, you may allow the switch to close and affect the status of the message on the DIC. If you locate the door that keeps this message on with the door closed, remove the door panel and replace the door latch assembly. Post back with what you find.

Brian,
Do you do the door closings individually with the car off, or key on, or car started? Thanks, for all your help.
