I have a P0014 error code. It says Camshaft Position Actuator B, Bank 1 Timing Overadvanced. Any idea what this could be? Is it safe to drive the car?

It should be safe to drive, but it will need diagnosed. It could be a faulty cam actuator solenoid valve, a faulty cam actuator, or possible oil pressure issues, low oil level may also cause it. I would tend to think more actuator/valve since you have no other complaints.

The Traction Control light (with a slash through it) will come on when driving at lower speeds. When this happens, the car shifts very hard in the lower gears and when shifting from park into reverse or drive, shifts very hard into each. When on the highway (65mph +) the car drives fine and light goes off. I would assume this has something to do with the code I am getting because I cleared the codes and when the light comes on, the check engine light comes on. Any idea if the two are related or gives you a better idea of what it may be?

More than likely, the traction light is a result of the check engine light. That is usual strategy, indicating there is a fault that would inhibit traction control from functioning.
