2001 Pontiac Firebird will not get over 20 mph

Please help the car will not get over 20 mph. We have check the catalitic converter and the problem is still not solved. Can you please tell us what the problem might be.

I (we) need more information. Is the engine lacking power? RPM issue? Transmission? Does the engine shake, sputter, miss, knock, or what?

It appears that your transmission is not shifting into 3 gear. If this is the case, your only option is to have it rebuilt, or replace it with a new, or used one.
