I had my car in for service without a solution. As I'm driving along either on expressway and it also happen while just standing at a light my car will cutoff without any warning. Initially it would start right back up, now it takes about 3-4 minutes before it starts. The last time it started hesitating before it finally cutoff. No codes are set. I've has a tuneup, fuel pump installed. But it seems to be getting more frequent. What about the ECM?
Thank you,
Ernest

For starters have the PCM (computer) scanned for codes, Autozone will do it for free. If the PCM sees a problem it will store a code that will help in diagnosing the problem, get back with the exact codes. When it wont start, is it lacking fuel pressure or spark?

There are no codes being set. Had them checked out by a NAPA mechanic. Fuel pressure and spark have been checked OK.

I would lean toward the ignition module. Sometimes when they get hot they will short out, but work again when cooled down
