My car will run just fine when it starts out but within a couple of minutes my car will make a high humming noise. Normally when I start to slow down is when I hear it. And when I slow down and start to come to a stop my car will cut out and lose a lot of power it seems like and I will have to put my foot into it just to keep it running.

Try loosening the exhaust flanges before the cat converter to let the exhaust out, they had big problems with those cats plugging up. Drive it, will be loud but if that is the problem it will run
