I just resurrected my 86 gt and drove it for the first few days with no problems, however, the heater motor is blowing massive amounts of nasty white smoke as soon as I use the defroster or heater in any configuration. It smells like a bad cigar it is brutally offensive.
any help would be appreciated.

if you can, take the blower motor out and get a shop vac in there to clean the crap out, it's probably water or dirt stuff like that. Then get some frebreze and spray in the vent at teh front of the windshield. do this while running the blower motor then turn the a/c on max and spray febreze on the inside by the floor where the air goes back into the heater. stop the blower and shut the car off and let sit for a bout 5 minutes then try it and see what you have.
