I am stumped. I am trying to replace rear rotors and pads on my 2004 Bonneville, but I cannot seem to free the caliper from the housing. There is only one caliper pin. I removed it and tried to swing the caliper up so I can get to the pads and rotor, but it won't go any higher than about 2 inches. It seems it might have something to do with the emergeny brake cable mechanism, but I have no idea what to do from there. Any suggestions would be great!

You do need to remove the park brake cable guide bolt from the lower control arm, then remove the bottom brake caliper pin bolt. once these are removed the caliper body should swing upward so you can secure it out of the way with some mechanic's wire. i have posted a graphic below showing the park brake cable guide bolt which needs removed..
