My 2000 Pontiac Bonneville (v6, not supercharged) stalls while driving sometimes. It's getting more frequent. Usually, the tachometer stops working at the same time. If I let it sit for a few minutes, I can usually restart it. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Thanks.

First thing I would do is to remove and test the ignition module, most autoparts stores test for free.

I replaced the ICM (didn't test the old one), and it seemed better for a couple of days, but it apparently didn't solve the problem. Any other ideas?
