Recently tried swapping out plugs and wires after some misfiring (misfiring still exists). The vehicle has sat for most of the summer but recently when starting I have noticed large amounts of white smoke coming from the exhaust along with a very sweet smell. My son noticed that antifreeze leaking from somewhere around the rear, driver's side tire. I am at a loss and would appreciate any help on these issues. Thank you for your time an consideration.

You are burning antifreeze in the engine. That is what is causing the white smoke and the smell. It sounds like you have a bad head gasket. The leak you see could be coming from the same problem. Check the motor oil and make sure no coolant has contaminated that too.

Let me know what you find.
