My pulley to the drive belt tensioner broke off while driving and it was gone. I purchased a new pulley, installed it, and tried to put on the drive belt. Even with the new pulley on there, the belt is tooooo loose. How do you tighten the drive belt or adjust the tensioner; and do I have to remove the whole motor mount to install the new belt????

It sounds like the belt is just stretched. I would recommend trying a new one. And yes, some models require the top mount be unbolted. Make sure to securely support the engine.

Also, are you sure you have it routed correctly?
