Electrical problem
1996 Pontiac Bonneville 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I just bought this car from a private party, who told me that the back up lights never worked. The other exterior lights (except the lower driving / fog lamps) work. There was no owners manual with the car. I thought that possibly the back up lights might be on a seperate fuse? Is that assumption correct? In addition, I can't find a switch to turn on the lower driving / fog lights. Where is the switch located?
THANK YOU.

My pontiac backup lights are able to work if you sorta put the car in reverse but more near the neutral gear but not all the way in neutral. As for the fog lights the button in my car is located up above by the sunglass compartment. Im not sure if your car is the same as mine but just thought this might help good luck.
