My car keeps cutting out and then it dies. We thouhgt it was the fuel filter and so we changed it but that wasn't it. My dad thinks it's the fuel pump and someone else thinks it's because I have a minor gas leak under the passenger door. I don't no what is wrong and I don't have money to take it to the shop right now. Please help!

Does the engine always start right back up? Also, as far as the fuel leak, it needs fixed. Any fuel leak is dangerous. I would have it taken care of.

Let me know about the restart issue I mentioned.
