Hello, im married with two kids trying to get through school and work, so I am on a tight budget, cant afford auto repairs so I take it on my self. Any help would be greatly app. I am trying to fix my 1992 bonneville, check engine light on obd said camshaft sensor failure replaced sensor, cleared codes started it up same problem same code. Codes did clear went in a loop rite after I started it back up? Any suggestions? Oh and it runs fine down the road just stumbles at an idle and almost dies sometimes does but always starts right back up. Thank you for your time its greatly app. Chuck

Check to see that the wiring harness is hooked up at the sensor and further up, also check for cracks and brakes in the wire and replace as necessary.

If thats all good you will have to take it in and have them do a relearn procedure on the sensor.
