I need to remove the harmonic balancer on a 389 engine. Which way does the bolt turn on the crank to loosen it? And how do I stop the engine from turning to remove the bolt?

Counter clockwise-either you remove the flywheel inspection plate and jam the flywheel with a long screwdiver or use a cheater bar on the crank pulley and crank engine over-
