Hi moeman101. Welcome to the forum. When you checked the wires, did you measure continuity or just do a visual inspection? A continuity test from the computer will tell you if the circuit has a problem. Compare it to the readings for the other sensors. Here are some things to be aware of. Some aftermarket scanners have a glitch that causes them to read a code for the wrong wheel. I want to say it's between the right rear and right front, but I can't remember for certain. GM has been having a ton of trouble with abs sensors built into the wheel bearing assembly. The bearings develop a little slop, (nothing out of the ordinary), but it causes the signals to drop out. If you have the style with a separate sensor, look at the tone ring to see if it is cracked. That will set a diagnostic fault code and turn on the warning light AFTER the vehicle is moving. A sensor electrical problem will show up right away after the engine is started.
Be sure all four tires are the same circumference. If you have access to a scanner that will read the four wheel speeds while you're driving, use that to see what's happening to the readings.
