2001 Pontiac Aztek fuel wiring harness. Or somthin else

the truck is not getting fuel...what's the name of the part that connecter from the wires that's at the bottom of the truck..I have pics but I don't know much about truck or cars..where would I find that part..I looks burned out and I don't know if there wires in the truck that's stopping it from workin

Thank you for the donation.

That is the fuel pump harness connector and it is linked to the body harness. The connectors are not sufficiently tight and heat build up when the fuel pump is working has caused the contacts to fail. When this occurs, the fuel pump would not work.

Unless you get a new harness, that is going to be expensive, or you would have to scout around at scrap yards and get the connector to be spliced onto the wireharness.

If you are able to clean the existing connector terminals and use a sharp object to pry the clips to tighten them, it might still work.

However after installation, you have to check if the terminal is heating up, indicating the connection is not secure.
