The Car just dies. Sometimes it will restart rite away sometimes it doesn't. Idea's?

Fuel pressure is 40 psi, within spec, pressure stays the same when it dies. I replaced the fuel filter. I replaced the rad bec it was leaking. I put in a different ignition module. Fluids are all good. No engine light. No codes. Crank sensor has been changed about a year ago. I put a new pig tail on for crank sensor, locking tab had broken off. I replaced the timing chain in the spring when I first got it, it had let go. Pulled heads off after that and replaced 1 Intake valve and 1 exhaust valve. Have been driving it all summer, till this. It has a command start, Didn't work before but now it does. Pleased about that. Doesn't make any difference weather it is on or off. Has a miss on Cyl 6, has had it since before I got the car. Compresion is good accross the board. Not worried about the miss. Idea's on the dying?

When it doesn't restart, have you checked fuel pressure and for spark at that time? One has to be missing or too weak to run the engine. Have you replaced the ignition module with a new or used one?

I keep a fuel guage on it all the time, lately. Fuel pressure is within spec, 38psi. Even when it acts up. When it does it usually doesn't last long, but I did loose spark the one time I was able to check, that was last fall when it first started doing this. I changed the ignition module with a used one, switched coils around, crank sensor is new, removed command start completely, plug wires and spark plugs are new also. It hasn't been acting up as much lately. All the wiring in the dash around computer and what not looks good, grounds look ok.
