I have had the same problem but it developed into whether it would run or not. It would turn off on the highway and in town. The light would turn on but as you say it had "No Code". Anyways, something that you should check should be the cam and crackshaft sensors. These are the two main sensors to go bad on those types of vans. They are very easy to get to and signs of problems are such as: the wires have shorts or bad places, bad connection, the sensor has physical damage.
