Can I run my vehicle still while the AC compressor does not turn. It is frozen up and does not turn free. We replaced it last summer and now it is not working and probably needs replacing again. Is the car safe to drive as long as the compressor switch is not turned on?

Yes that should be fine just make sure the pulley on the compressor is moving with the belt, and keep the a/c off

Are you just gonna throw another compressor on it or try to figure out why it locked up. Did yours cycle properly? Do the fans come on with the AC?

I think no one put any pag oil in it, overtime the heat will take a toll on the bearings.
