Hello,

My Grand Voyager has been sitting for about a year. I started and drove it today, and it was generally in great shape. The only real problems it developed are ones I have never seen before.

The first one is that water is building up inside the a/c ductwork, and it is coming into the van in the passenger side front footwell.

The other one is the diverter for the airflow will not switch to defrost the windshield.

Any help would be appreciated.

The first one is easily remedied. As with all air conditioners, water vapor in the air condenses on the evaporator coils. This is supposed to drain out a tube visible on the firewall. It's probably just clogged with debris and easily cleared with a piece of wire.

Problem number 2, it sounds like, could require some dash surgery.
