The brake light stays on after a rear brake job was done and the front wheel bearings were replaced. The shoes, cylinders, springs were replaced and drums were turned and the lines were bleed. In the process of diagnosing the problem the e-brake pedal would go to the floor, so I rechecked the e-brake cable and corrected the rear e-brake cable to arm connection on the back shoes. This corrected the pedal issue, but not the light. All the brakes are working properly. I also refill the brake reservoir, but the light is still on. I checked the switch on the e-brake pedal and it has 0.0 volts when the pedal is up and 7.5 volts when the pedal is depressed. What other sensors activate the e-brake light? Does the anti-lock brake system activate this light, too? What should be my next step?
