1996 Plymouth Voyager help me fiqure this out

My voyager the transmission well when its cold it dont move(it has transmission fluid in it) but if I let it warm up and then rev the engine then it will move in reverse and drive, Any thought or facts to help me out?

You need to take it to a tranny shop.

There are lots of things that could be the problem.

The flute valves are not moving in the valve body, but once the valve body heats up it expands enough for the valve to slide.

An electrical solenoid somewhere is not working when it's cold.

Some seal is allowing fluid pressure to bleed off until everything is hot and swelled up.
