I have a 1992 plymouth grand voyager with power brakes. The power brakes are not working. The power brake system that is on the car does not have a standard power brake booster (a large vacum chamber between the master cylinder and the firewall. Instead it has a small (about the size of a tennis ball) vacum chamber on the passenger side top of the master cylinder. I have been unable to find any pictures or descriptions of this type of system. There are warnings printed on the top of the vacum chamber in english and french which warn that there is high pressure in the vessel and it could be dangerous to remove the chamber.I would appreciate any help or information about service or trouble shooting this problem.

Yeah, sounds like you have a bendix 10 abs system the worst abs system that plymouth/dodge has ever put out, I have the same one and most of the time the pedal is rock hard and every so often the pedal will be normal orfall right to the floor, Probably the same problem as you, usually the problem with these is the that over time moisture gets into the system and causes the pressure switch to malfunction. Just a big headache, its quite expensive to fix also. You will have to make some decisions.
