It takes a little while for the car to "catch" and start, but once started, runs well, accelerates well, even up hills, doesn't die, tach is steady. Starter and battery are strong, good cranking power.
When it starts, if turned off and started right away, will turn over immediately.
Replaced fuel pressure regulator, and started very well for 5 days or so, then started hard again. Fuel pressure tested well, pcv valve replaced, no vacuum leaks, (that I can see). No engine light comes on.

Hello and thank you for the fast reply. I for got to mention I had actually added fuel system cleaner AND
fuel injection cleaner to it. Perhaps there are better and worse cleaners out there? Any you'd recommended? Just can't figure out this starting problem.

Thanks again!

Techron by Chevron is what I use in black bottle at parts store. Get the fuel system cleaner. If this shows no improvement need a system pressure cleaning at a shop maybe needed.
