On my 86 plymouth reliant 2.2 or5 TBI. It first started at cruising speed intermititent missing like lack of fuel or complete ign breakdown. Now when I start the car it will speed up and slow down, It seems to accelerate decently but when I let off the gas to crusing speed, it acts like I am turning the ing. On and off on and off. Then the power loss light comes on. It seems to run petty much fine except for some power loss of course. But does not miss. Turn car off and restart, samething all over again. Coil, wires good,
fuel pump psi19. Any ideas before I get stranded?
Thanks

Hi:

It could be a few things causing the problem. What I suggest is that you visit a nationally recognized parts store and have the computer scanned. After you get the problem codes, let me know and we'll work through it together.

If you have any questions, let me know. Also, I checked fuel pressure specs for your car (i believe it has TBI and not carborated) It shows 14.5 PSI. 19 PSI may be causing your trouble.
