I have a Plymouth neon. A week ago I noticed that my heater was not blowing out. I thought it might have been the heater blower motor but I have noticed it still puts out warm air on dash defrost ducts. The control knob will be on high but minimal heat comes out. The funny thing is it has a mind on it's own. I have noticed it blowing on high sometimes but it lasts a day or so then it is back to minimal. Is it the heater contol unit or could it be my thermostat? Please help before winter gets here. Thanks

Hi:

Does the blower motor work? When you get very little heat, is the blower running?

I pulled out the blower motor and noticed it wasn't spinning when I had the controls on. I spun it a little and it took off. I cleaned it up oiled it and know it really works. Thanks for the response. I think the problem is solved.
